As a Social Media Content Curator, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our clients’ online presence through compelling and relevant content. Your primary responsibility will be to discover, gather, and curate engaging materials across various platforms that resonate with our target audience. Collaborating closely with our Social Media Strategist, you will ensure a consistent brand voice while staying updated with the latest trends and industry developments. Your eye for captivating visuals, knack for storytelling, and proficiency in content curation tools will be vital in driving audience engagement and fostering a robust online community. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Content Discovery: Research and source relevant and engaging content from various online platforms, publications, and resources to maintain a steady stream of captivating materials.
- Content Curation: Curate a diverse range of content, including articles, images, videos, and infographics, to resonate with the target audience and align with the brand’s messaging.
- Audience Understanding: Develop a deep understanding of the target audience’s preferences, interests, and behaviors to curate content that captures their attention and drives engagement.
- Content Scheduling: Plan and schedule curated content for publication across social media platforms, optimizing timing for maximum visibility and engagement.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure that all curated content aligns with the brand’s tone, voice, and values, maintaining a cohesive and consistent online presence.
- Stay Current: Stay updated with industry trends, emerging platforms, and viral content, adapting the curation strategy to reflect current interests.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with the Social Media Content Strategist and marketing team to align curated content with broader marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Content Performance Analysis: Track and analyze the performance of curated content, using metrics such as likes, shares, clicks, and conversions to refine curation strategies.
- Content Adaptation: Adapt curated content to suit different social media platforms and formats, ensuring optimal presentation and engagement on each channel.
- User-Generated Content (UGC): Encourage and curate user-generated content that aligns with the brand’s messaging and amplifies customer testimonials and experiences.
- Hashtag Strategy: Develop and implement an effective hashtag strategy to enhance content discoverability and expand the brand’s reach.
- Content Attribution: Ensure proper attribution and permissions for third-party content, adhering to copyright laws and ethical content usage.
- Emerging Trends: Proactively identify and leverage emerging content trends, challenges, and memes to keep the brand’s content fresh and relevant.
- Creating content and scheduling of social media posts
- Prepare accurate social media campaign’s monthly analytics and overall performance reports
- Work closely with Creative team and other contributors in carrying out campaign projects and ensure timely and accurate execution.
- Strictly follow Team’s Standard Operating Protocols(SOP) and General Guidelines
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Marketing, Communication or related field
- At least 1.5 years of experience in a social media or digital marketing role
- Expertise in Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Youtube
- Proficient in scheduling platforms
- Proven experience in content planning from ideation to actual production of the content
- Produces clear, concise, and engaging copy or blurbs. Understands different language styles that appeal to various target markets. Writes copy with impact and depth.
- Highly organized and can juggle multiple projects in a dynamic, high-pressure environment without losing track of timelines.
- Aptitude for using data and identifying actionable insights from analysis
- Comfortable in presenting his/her team’s projects and results to various stakeholders. Proactively reaches out to stakeholders to provide project status.
